Barbe Nicole Ponsardin, meglio conosciuta come la “vedova Clicquot”, nel 1814 riuscì a superare il blocco continentale che immobilizzava l’Europa negli scambi commerciali, facendo approdare il suo Champagne a San Pietroburgo. Il successo fu incredibile e oggi, lo Champagne Brut “Cuvée Saint Pètersbourg” della maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin è dedicato proprio all’intraprendenza di madame Clicquot-Ponsardin. Ha un forte carattere, conferitogli dal pinot noir che predomina nella cuvée, ma rimane comunque elegante e morbido.
Giallo paglierino intenso con riflessi dorati. Fine e persistente la grana. Al naso, note di frutta matura e frutta secca sono seguite da sentori di pan brioche, mandorle e spezie dolci. È rotondo ed equilibrato all’assaggio, con acidità e sapidità ben misurate. Il retrogusto ritorna sul tostato.

Returns and Refunds
- You can return any product within 14 days without giving a reason.
- If your package arrived with missing or damaged products , please fill out the report form at the bottom of the page. Remember to attach photos if the products are damaged.
